Kyogo ended his 11-month drought of no away goals as Celtic cruised to Victory against St Johnstone.

He took to social media after his brace in Perth, where he also set up Bernardo’s goal, and sent a message to fans with photos from the win.

Celtic’s commanding performance at McDiarmid Park, with Kyogo opening the scoring, set the tone for what was a comprehensive victory, serving as an ideal setup before their challenging Champions League encounter against Borussia Dortmund. The team’s cohesion was on full display, with multiple players, including Paulo Bernardo, Callum McGregor, Daizen Maeda, and Adam Idah, all contributing to the scoreline.
Kyogo’s performance was particularly noteworthy not just for the goals but for breaking a prolonged spell without scoring away from home.
The man from Japan was great for Celtic in the Champions League last season. He scored two goals in the group stages last season, adding to his assist from the campaign before.
This season, Celtic have Adam Idah heading into the matches. He signed in in January last season, but he missed the elite games.
Celtic spent big on him in the summer, and he’ll add a different dynamic to the attack, whether it’s from the start or from the bench.
