Kyogo Furuhashi has expressed his thanks to Celtic fans following a successful season in which he helped the team secure a domestic double.

The Japanese forward, who has become a star in the Celtic side since his arrival in the summer of 2021, celebrated his seventh winner’s medal with the club on Saturday.
Reflecting on the season’s achievements, Kyogo shared a heartfelt message on social media, thanking the fans for their unwavering support. His post read: “Thank you for fighting with me this season as well. I’m proud to have achieved two crowns with this member.”

While this season may not have been his most prolific, scoring 19 goals, Kyogo’s contributions in crucial matches were vital. He made significant impacts in high-stakes games, including scoring in the Glasgow Derby and in the Champions League. This follows a stellar performance the previous season under manager Ange Postecoglou, where he netted an impressive 34 goals in the Aussie’s last season in Glasgow.
He has struggled to adapt to Rodgers’ style, yet, he still pops up in the big moments.
