Kyogo Sends Thursday Social Media Message

Kyogo Furuhashi has sent fans a message as Celtic reach the halfway point of pre-season.

The Japanese striker was on target in Celtic’s last game, when the side emerged victorious 4-2. Some brilliant movement in the box allowed Kyogo to get into space leaving the defenders scrambling.

As Celtic gears up for a big season, with a title to defend and Champions League football to play, the Bhoys are getting up to speed.

The hard work continues for Kyogo and his teammates, with three pre-season friendlies still to play. Postecoglou will be working the team hard on the training pitch, with double sessions a common occurrence for the team in pre-season.

Taking to Twitter, Kyogo posted;

Kyogo Set for Celtic Battle

While Kyogo managed to get on the scoresheet on Wednesday night, so did Giorgos Giakouamkis. The Greek striker is another top-quality player that Ange will have to manage carefully this season.

Both players are on terrific goal-scoring form and are both in with a shout to start Celtic’s opener against Aberdeen. With three games left of pre-season, it’ll come down to who impresses the manager the most that will get the jersey for the game.

Heading forward, they’ll both get their chance and probably get rotated. However, both players will be desperate to start the big games for Celtic.
