Looking forward, Kyogo’s challenges are set to increase as Celtic prepares to face formidable opponents in Borussia Dortmund and Atalanta in their next two matches, both of which are away.
These matches will test his skills against some of the top defences in Europe, but he’s shown he can perform against top defences in the past. You only need to look at last season’s goal sin the competition.
Given his track record and knack for scoring in big games, Kyogo’s contributions could be crucial for Celtic as they navigate through the group stages of the Champions League.
He has struggled since Brendan Rodgers came in through, but the striker has adapted. Especially this season, Kyogo seems to be getting involved with the all round play more than usual, and his movement has been key for creating space for the wingers, which could have benefited to the uplift in Kuhn’s form this campaign.
