SKY SPORTS Journalist Anthony Joseph was on the CeltsAreHere podcast today, where he discussed a range of topics with our host Quinny.

A debate that’s been circling on social media over the past few weeks is if Kyogo is the best striker since Larsson. He took the league by storm last term, and has continued his blistering form, in fact, he’s taken it up a level.
Leading the scoring charts, he’s earned every right to be in the frame for the best striker since Larsson, but Anthony Joseph doesn’t believe he’s quite at that level, yet. But if he maintains his performance levels for a couple more seasons, he’ll be in the conversation for sure.
Speaking on the CeltsAreHere Podcast, the journalist said:
“It depends how you judge a striker, do you judge them purely on goals, their overall ability?
“In terms of style, Larsson is a bit better than Kyogo, but in terms of their playing style on the ground, movement and runs and linkup play, they’re quite similar in that sense.
“I don’t think Kyogo is there yet, but he’s heading that way. Before we can make bold statements like he’s the best since Larsson, we’ve got to see him over a number of seasons.”
He’s two derby goals away this season from breaking Larsson’s record of six goals against Rangers in a season.
Kyogo has been brilliant in the derbies this season, after coming off injured in the opening stages of the 4-0 thumping at the start of the season, he scored a late equaliser at Ibrox, a brace at Hampden and another double at Celtic Park last weekend.
