Kyogo Furuhashi has admitted that he wants his fellow striker Adam Idah to be signed permanently by Celtic, despite the Irishman keeping him out of the team at certain junctures this season.
Drafted in on loan from Norwich at the end of the winter transfer window, the 23-year-old bagged countless crucial goals in green and white during the second half of the campaign.

Idah has been a welcomed breath of fresh air in Glasgow’s east end and up top, provides a completely different dynamic to Kyogo.
The Japanese frontman has struggled to find form at times this season and has been outshine by Idah. Despite this, he wants him to stay.
Kyogo said: (Glasgow Times) “He’s doing a very good job and as a striker, as a colleague, I am very happy for him.
“I think everyone wishes him to stay. But at the end of the day that’s his decision.
“We want him to stay, though.”
With his pivotal goals, Idah has perhaps taken some of the burden off Kyogo since moving to Glasgow.
