Celtic Star Kyogo Furuhashi has opened up on his time so far with the club, as he stated that Glasgow is now like a ‘second home’ to him.
The Japanese international has been an instant hit with the Hoops support, not only due to his performances on the park but also his infectious personality, which has seen him strike up a brilliant relationship with the fans.
Speaking in an interview with Celtic TV, Kyogo opened up on his time so far with the club, insisting that there is still more to come from his performances in the Green and White – which will undoubtedly be welcomed by the fan base.
When asked about his good relationship with the supporters, Kyogo said: “First of all, I am happy to hear that.
“It’s nice to know I am accepted a little, but at the same time, I am not satisfied with my play yet.
“I want to play better and contribute towards bringing more joy to the fans.”
He continued: “My favourite moment? When anyone scores, the whole stadium goes wild at once.
“That is special and absolutely amazing.
“When it comes to goals, every goal was special for me. Thanks to everyone’s effort and support, I can score goals.
“So, if I can make everyone happy by scoring, then I am truly happy too.
Speaking about his experiences of Glasgow so far, the 26-year old said: “I like Glasgow, and I feel it’s easy to live here.
“I think I can call it my second home now.”
It is brilliant to hear that Kyogo is loving life in Glasgow under Ange Postecoglou, as much as we as supporters are loving his performances on the pitch.
Fans will be extremely eager to see the frontman return from injury in time for Sunday’s cup final against Hibernian.
Although there is no sign of an injury update in this interview, the news sounds very positive on his chances of a swift return.
For now, to put our minds at ease, we can just enjoy the Kyogo content being put out by the club.
