The two Glasgow sides meet at Hampden in a 3 pm kick-off on Sunday, with Celtic looking to retain the Viaplay Cup, while James Tavernier looks to win it for the first ever time with his club.

Kyogo has been in terrific form this season, leading the scoring charts. He got a goal in the quarter-final when Celtic played Motherwell. With 19 goals in the league, he’s hit the back of the net twice in the Scottish Cup.

Previewing the match, Kyogo has admitted his excitement to take to the pitch on Sunday, confirming he’s feeling good and has shaken off his shoulder injury.

“I am looking forward to it,” he explained to the Herald.

“I am excited about the game. We have prepared as a team, and I am prepared myself too. My shoulder is feeling good.

“After that injury, I had a lot of positive support from my team-mates and the Celtic staff.

I was able to return to football because of them and I want to pay them all back in two days’ time.”

In last year’s League Cup Final, Kyogo was the main man, scoring a wonderful brace which saw Celtic come from behind to win the trophy, silencing the jubilant Hibs fans in seconds.
