Kyogo Can Now Earn Legendary Status; Who’s Next?

The news of Kyogo Furuhashi penning a fresh four-year deal with Celtic is not just a major coup for the club, but also a rallying cry for our other key players. With Brendan Rodgers now at the helm, we’re on the brink of what could be another top season for the Bhoys.

Kyogo is one of the finest strikers we’ve seen in recent years, and now has the chance to become a bona fide Celtic legend. His value to the team is beyond measure, and the thought of losing him was a nightmare we’re glad we didn’t have to face. With a staggering 54 goals in 83 appearances, and having found the net in all three cup finals he’s graced for Celtic, Kyogo is a Hoops hero through and through.

Despite the summer rumours that had him heading to Tottenham Hotspur in the wake of Ange Postecoglou’s departure, our Japanese talisman has made it clear: his heart belongs to Celtic.

Rodgers would be wise to keep Kyogo front and centre in the starting line-up, harnessing his blistering pace and lethal goal-scoring ability. After another season like the last, we wouldn’t be surprised to see his market value rocket past the £30 million mark, and his status as Japan’s star striker firmly cemented.

With Kyogo’s future now secure at Celtic for another four years, it’s time to turn our attention to another Celtic player – Greg Taylor. He may not grab the headlines like Kyogo, but as Celtic’s best left-back, he’s proven his doubters wrong time and again.

With two years left on his current deal, just like Kyogo had, it’s high time we showed him the appreciation he deserves. Greg could yet be vital for Brendan Rodgers as he was for Ange Postecoglou

With Rodgers back at the wheel, we’re confident that Celtic is on course for another season to remember. Knowing that Kyogo will be leading the charge for the Hoops next season, it’s hard not to feel a surge of excitement. Bring it on!
