Kyogo Admits to Training Ground Windup

YOKOHAMA F. MARINOS was defeated by Visel Kobe this week, with players formally of both sides at Celtic, led by the ex-Marinos manager.

Kyogo had tweeted in celebration of the win but has now admitted he took it a step further in training, winding up Ange Postecoglou and Daizen Maeda.

As quoted by the Scotsman, Kyogo opened up on the match and how he kept his celebrations to himself until the full-time whistle.

He was asked;

‘You tweeted about your old club Vissel Kobe beating Yokohama Marinos 3-2 this week, was it to wind up your Celtic manager and team-mate Daizen Maeda?’

He answered, after having a little chuckle;

“You are right. I don’t know what to say…it is complicated. They are from Marinos!”

“Anyway it was a good game and we didn’t know until the last minute which team was going to win. Marinos could have won, but this is football. I think it was a very exciting game, and watching them made me more passionate and inspires me for Celtic.”

It was certainly a surprising result; relegation-threatened Visel Kobe shocked viewers by overcoming the league leaders who have been on a great form under Ange’s Former assistant Kevin Muscat.

The Celtic dressing room sounds like a great environment where they all get on and can have a laugh with each other. The players look like a good bunch, with Ange only bringing players to the club if they are the ‘right person’ and will positively contribute to the dressing room.
