Kris Boyd Delivers Celtic Spending Warning

KRIS BOYD likes to talk about Celtic, the stuttering pundit has made a post-football career out of giving red hot takes nobody asked for.

When he gets pushed in front of a Sky Sports camera and has to discuss things outwith Celtic or his own team, hilarity normally ensues.

Speaking about Celtic on Sunday afternoon, he was talking about the Ibrox clubs superiority but warned Celtic and Eddie Howe are about to spend some serious cash to get the title back next season.

“Celtic will spend money with the reports of Eddie Howe coming in.” Boyd told RecordSport. Celtic will have to throw a lot of money at this to try and turn this around.”

There’s going to be a massive overhaul at the club and unfortunately for the current champions, they will certainly have a much stronger challenge next season.

With more advancements in protection against the virus, more fans in stadiums and the heavyweight of being the champions with everyone coming after you are all going to be things that can tip the scale.

Celtic’s net spend might not even be that much when you take player sales into account. We will likely get some decent money for three or four players that will enable the Hoops to go into the transfer market and make some positive changes.
