SOUTH Korea hero Seo Jung–won has encouraged Jurgen Klinsmann to build his team around Hyeongyu Oh.

Seo, who scored an iconic goal for South Korea in the 1994 World Cup, has praised Oh‘s progress in Europe and believes he could be a key player in Klinsmann‘s team for years to come.
The manager who has managed Oh‘s former club Suwon Samsung Bluewings and is now manager of Chinese club Chengdu Rongcheng, stated: [Daily Record]
“When I see how players like Oh Hyeon-gyu are progressing, I do feel the future of football in this country is really encouraging.
“Oh was full of confidence as a player when he was in South Korea and he seems to have adapted very well to Celtic and Scottish football. Players like him seem to be improving and he is going to be a very big player in coach Klinsmann’s plans for sure.
“I thought Oh was very unlucky to miss out on the World Cup. He deserved his move to Europe and it seems to be working out for him.“He is still very young at 22 and has the potential to be a player that we can build our team around in the future years.”
Jurgen Klinsmann, the newly appointed South Korean head coach, will be visiting Ayrshire to watch the hoops take on Kilmarnock on Sunday lunchtime. He will be taking part in his European tour to not only watch, but also meet with his players as he looks to deliver success to the nation.
