After spending the season on loan at Real Sociedad, the Scotland international finds himself on the periphery at Arsenal, facing limited opportunities for game time.
Tierney’s early days at Arsenal were promising despite some injury setbacks, but he has since fallen out of favour with manager Mikel Arteta, who previously held him in high regard.

Amid this uncertainty, some Celtic fans and pundits have speculated about the possibility of Tierney returning to Celtic Park.

The club is reportedly looking to bolster its left-back position, and a move for Tierney could align with their needs.

The defender’s strong connection with Celtic, where he started his career and rose to prominence, continues to fuel these speculations.

In a conversation with broadcaster Jim White on TalkSPORT in April, Tierney was asked about the potential of returning to Celtic in the future. He responded saying, “Who knows?

“You never know in football, it’s a connection that I will always have and it’s somewhere I will imagine I will always be linked with if I were to move from any club.

“So, you know never know.”
