The summer transfer window is well underway, and Celtic have already been making some moves. Both Odin Thiago Holm and Marco Tilio have been brought in to bolster Brendan Rodgers’ squad ahead of the return to action for 2023/24.
As well as incomings, there have been a few outgoings from Parkhead. Jota left for Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia and Conor Hazard’s time at the club ended as he joined Plymouth Argyle. The club also lost Aaron Mooy through his retirement.
One imagines reinforcements will be needed in order to re-strengthen the squad. More incomings are vastly likely between now and the end of the window, with Kieran Tierney potentially being someone who could come in.

According to The Mirror (via Daily Record), the Scottish left-back is open to a return to Celtic and would be willing to take a ‘significant cut in his wages’ in order to make such a move happen. At the minute, however, this appears to be sheer speculation.
In spite of this, fans can dream, and it is fair to say a return of Tierney to Glasgow would be met with open arms by all those of a green and white persuasion. Newcastle are also interested in the 26-year-old, though, so a move may not be so straightforward if it ever was.
