Kieran Tierney Leaves Celtic Coaches Speechless in Viral Training Clip

Kieran Tierney may only be a few days into his Celtic return, but he’s already showing flashes of the quality that made him a fan favourite the first time around.

Although the defender won’t be involved in tonight’s friendly against Cork City in Ireland, he has travelled with the squad and continues to step up his recovery after picking up a knock while on Scotland duty this summer.

Still working his way back to full fitness, Tierney has been training with the squad and turning heads with his sharpness and composure on the ball.

During a recent Lennoxtown session, caught on the club’s “Unfiltered” training footage, Tierney delivered a moment that reminded everyone of his class.

Under pressure in a tight space during a possession drill, the 27-year-old turned smartly away from two teammates, exchanged a slick one-two with Ben Summers, and surged forward past a cluster of players before releasing a tidy forward pass.

The move drew an instant and audible reaction from the sidelines. Assistant boss Adam Sadler, watching on, couldn’t contain his reaction, shouting: “Oh my God! Oh my God, KT!” as Tierney left a lasting impression with his quick feet and confident play.

Celtic supporters eager to see Tierney back in action will need to hold on a little longer. The full-back won’t feature in the match at Turner’s Cross, with the club taking no chances as he continues to build towards full match sharpness.

All going well, the friendly against Sporting CP next Wednesday could mark his first appearance back in the Hoops.
