Kieran Tierney has given Ryan Bowman the ‘benefit of the doubt’ after his horror tackle last season which could have broke Tierney’s leg.

Shockingly the player didn’t see red for the ridiculous challenge.
Everyone knows about the tackle he [Bowman] made on me,” said Tierney. “I don’t think he meant it and I wouldn’t like to think he meant it. Motherwell are a strong and physical team but we have shown over the past season and a bit that we can stand up to all the different challenges that are put in front us.
Celtic are used to being strong-armed when it comes to domestic competition and have become more than capable of playing their own game even when faced with challenges that shouldn’t be going on.
