Kieran Tierney Already Paying His Arsenal Fee Back Without Kicking a Ball

KIERAN TIERNEY might have only left Celtic on Thursday but the former Parkhead star is already proving a hit at his new club without kicking a ball.

The player is still five or six weeks away from being ready to play for his new club but in the meantime he’s already recouping some of that large transfer fee with reports his Arsenal jersey is outselling most other players in the shop.

Arsenal bought Pepe and Luiz late in the window too but there has been so much hysteria surrounding Kieran Tierney – when they got their man they’ve really already decided he’s a winner.

A club shops spokesperson told SunSport: “He’s a popular player so we’ve sold quite a lot of shirts already.

“The shirts are flying off the shelves. I can’t give you an accurate number. But it’s way more than usual.”

Kieran was obviously very popular at Celtic being a supporter of the club all of his life as well as being in the youth system since he was 7.

It was hard for many fans to see him go with some not forgiving the player at this moment in time but maybe in the near future things will settle down.
