Celtic’s Forgotten Man Finally Spotted at Lennoxtown

Former Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng visited Lennoxtown this week to meet up with our South Korean contingent and there’s a rare citing of forgotten midfielder Kwon who has yet to play a game for the Hoops.

Ki, who played under Neil Lennon at Celtic posted out pictures from his trip to the Celtic training complex, including a picture with current Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers.

Ki Sung-yuen, had a notable tenure in Glasgow. He joined the club in 2009 from FC Seoul, bringing with him a reputation for technical proficiency and an eye for goal.

During his time at Celtic, Ki established himself as a squad player in the midfield. Known for his composed passing, vision, and ability to control the tempo of the game.

Off the field, Ki was known for his professionalism and work ethic. He adapted well to the physical nature of Scottish football and was respected by teammates.

After a successful spell with Celtic, Ki moved on to continue his career with Swansea, swapping Scotland for Wales in a £6m move.

The player looks to be visiting many of the South Korean players who ply their trade in Europe. He met up with Spurs star Son on Tuesday.
