Kennedy Could Hand Player First Team Debut at Tannadice

CELTIC take on Dundee Utd on Sunday afternoon as the bhoys look to play out the season.

John Kennedy has no new injury worries ahead of the game and told CeltsArehere.com on Friday Jane’s Forrest has been back in training this week. He’s not ready to play yet but the winger is in the final stretch of his comeback from serious injury.

The provisional squad has been named for the Dundee Utd tie and there’s just one notable absentee; Greg Taylor.

The defender suffered an injury at Ross a county a few weeks back and is still having issues. Diego Laxalt will deputise in the players absence.

John Kennedy also told the site Barkas has been struggling with an ankle injury and would be a doubt for the squad, he has been added to the provisional squad.

Young Adam Montgomery could make the squad again and potentially make his first team debut.

The club could be heading for a showdown at Celtic Park in just a few weeks to stop their rivals from winning the title on their own patch. It’s vital the team send out a message they won’t be rolled over.
