However, this hasn’t deterred Rangers from penning a letter and complaining to the SFA, nor has it stopped several analysts from suggesting that the Ibrox side were unfairly denied points in the derby.

Hugh Keevins remarked, “It’s a matter of personal interpretation, but for me, it’s a foul.”
Andy Halliday, pushing the ‘it wasn’t clear and obvious’ narrative and completely disregarding the rule book, said, “Personally, I don’t think it’s a foul. I’ve seen the laws of the game, and Dessers is never in control of the ball, but the incident in full, is that enough of a clear and obvious error for the referee to be sent to the VAR screen? I’m not too sure.”
It seems that this VAR decison is being used as an excuse for missing an open goal, Cantwell passing the ball back to Joe Hart and Celtic just being the better team.
The decision was the correct one at the end of the day, and the fact that this will be talked about for the next few weeks is nothing short of embarassing.
