Karamoko Dembele is nearing a move to Queens Park Rangers in the English Football League.

After making a striking early impression by playing for Celtic’s Under-20 team at just 13, Dembele’s career trajectory took him to Brest in France’s Ligue 1 in the summer of 2022. However, the most impactful phase of his recent career was his loan spell at Blackpool in England’s third tier last season, where he made 47 appearances and scored nine goals.
His performances in the north of England caught the attention of many English sides.
This successful stint has led to a permanent move back to England, with QPR and Brest reportedly agreeing to a transfer fee of around €3 million (£2.6 million), including potential add-ons.
Fabrizio Romano broke the news:

Hopefully, he can get his career back on track in England. He probably won’t hit the heights that he was initially expected to reach, but he can still have a decent career.
