Jumped Before He Was Pushed – Dom McKay Exit Spin Begins

The Daily Record are tonight running with a story that claims Dom McKay jumped before he was pushed because the appointment was not working out.

Again, it’s an apparent ‘exclusive’ for a newspaper who people in our board like to do business with.

The paper claims that McKay hadn’t endeared himself to the board and chairman and friction behind the scene came to a head pretty quickly.

CeltsAreHere understands there was thankfully no personal issues with health or family members in the McKay household which promotes this upheaval.

This is purely down to Celtic and McKay not seeing eye to eye on many things at the club.

It would stand to reason this board would push back against new ideas and modernisation. All of the current custodians have been in charge of Celtic during the Peter Lawwell era and look incapable of seeing past the mantra set up by the former chief exec.

It’s an incredible misfire from the club and has again proven we’re nowhere near out the woods when it comes to the restructuring of the club.

Are the board members against major change behind the scenes?
