Jullien Makes Honest Edouard Admission

CHRISTOPHER JULLIEN is getting prepared to return to training next week with the rest of his teammates in a phased return for the bhoys.

The bhoys haven’t been at Lennoxtown as a squad since March when they were preparing for a Glasgow Derby. They return champions of Scotland for the ninth time and with a lot of work to do ahead of the new season, which is right now pencilled in for August.

The big Celtic defender can’t wait to get back to work and he hopes there’s one man in the squad who will be back and raring to go for ten in a row – his pal Odsonne Eduard.

With so much speculation surrounding his future, Christopher Jullien is hopeful the striker will stay on at Celtic this summer and help deliver history next term.

Jullien was honest enough to tell supporters he doesn’t know either way what the future holds for his mate.

“I speak with Odsonne a lot. We are friends. I know how good Celtic is for him and how happy he is right now.” Jullien told RecordSport.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen but personally I think he is at one of the best clubs in Europe.

“We will see what happens but I hope everything is going to be fine for next season.

“Odsonne has been huge for us. He’s scored so many goals but he gives more than that to the team.

“His all-round game is fantastic. He holds the ball in for us, he controls the tempo and gives us so much with his dribbling and skills. We are so happy to have him.”

Edouard hasn’t said one way or another which way he’s leaning but we’ll likely get an indication before August on what his plans are going to be.

Celtic fans are desperate to see the striker buy-in to the ten in a row season and be the catalyst for a historic season.
