Jota’s Celtic Return

Celtic have welcomed Jota back into the fold after the Bhoy’s winger touched back down in Glasgow. [Football Scotland]

Over the Christmas and New Year period Jota was ordered back to his parent club Benfica to assess his injury sustained against Hearts in the SPFL.

During that time, there’s been plenty of talk of a permanent deal and that’s still very much on the table has we hit the midway point of January.

There will be no quick return for Jota on the field with the winger still working his way back from a hamstring problem.

It was a massive blow to Celtic when the Portuguese star pulled up injured. He missed the cup final and he was also missing when the Hoops lost points against St Mirren.

Once Celtic shake a few more injuries, they will have a very strong squad with much more depth.

The sooner Jota gets back to fill fitness, the better!
