ANGE POSTECOGLOU is thought to surprise Celtic fans with the permanent addition of Jota in January. The winger has been a stand-out in the Celtic squad since arriving in Scotland on Deadline Day.

It is reported by Football Scotland that the club is considering placing a bid that would give the player the option to join the club permanently NEXT MONTH.

This is in addition to the three J-League players Postecoglou wishes to add to his squad before Celtic hosts their rivals on the 2nd of January. In the past, the manager has spoken and said that he believes that both parties are happy but that there would be no rush to sign the player mid-season.

The addition of Jota would show great ambition from the club, the statement signing is thought to cost a fee of £6.5 million, but for a player of Jota’s quality that is nothing.

For me, and many fans, the timing of the signing is less important, we just want him signed!
