Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart took off his gloves for the final time on Saturday afternoon following the Hoops’ Scottish Cup final victory over Rangers.
The number one’s career couldn’t have ended any better, a last-minute Adam Idah winner sealing a double for the Bhoys.

A clean sheet in his last game in professional football, Hart went out on an almighty high. He sent an emotional message to the Celtic supporters yesterday and has gained widescale plaudits from many of his teammates and fellow pros.
One of the said well-wishers is Jota. The flamboyant Portuguese winger, who left Glasgow for Saudi Arabia last summer, responded to an Instagram video of Hart removing his gloves for the last time.
The 25-year-old hailed the goalie as a ‘legend’ while thanking him for his contributions to the beautiful game:

The number of good wishes Hart is receiving upon his retirement is a testament to how much he is loved in football.
The Englishman is rightly adorned at Celtic but across the sport, he is recognised by many as a true great.
