Former Celtic winger Jota has reportedly arrived in Glasgow to seal a return to the Hoops, having had his return delayed due to Storm Eowyn yesterday.
The Portuguese winger was sensationally linked with a return to Celtic on Wednesday night after the Hoops secured a place in the Champions League playoff knockout rounds, with Kyogo set to move in the other direction to Rennes.

Jota’s deal is said to be worth €10 million, in what can be seen as one of the biggest returns to Celtic in recent memory, given his influential time at the club from 2021 until 2023. During that time, he won 2 league titles, a Scottish Cup, and 2 League Cups under Ange Postecoglou, having gone from an unknown winger from Benfica to a guaranteed starter week in, week out.
UPDATE: Rennes winger Jota is in Glasgow to finalise his £8m return to Celtic.
The 25yo was due to fly to Scotland on Thursday night, but his travel was pushed back due to Storm Éowyn.

Jota’s departure from Celtic to Al-Ittihad for £25 million was met with immense sadness from the Hoops support.
However, a return has come a lot sooner than anyone could have dreamed, after failing to succeed at the Saudi Pro League side and at Rennes over the last six months. Their loss is Brendan Rodgers’ gain, with the Irishman labelling Jota the one player he came back to Celtic to work with.
