Josip Juranovic will report for Celtic training this morning ahead of two major fixtures.
The bhoys are set to take on Hibs at Easter Road on Wednesday, followed by a short trip across the city to Ibrox in the new year.
Anthony Ralston’s injury against Livingston meant Reo Hatate had to slot in at right back against St Johnstone on Christmas Eve. The Japanese midfielder scored two goals from the position and did well to deputise.
Ange knows his side lose something defensively when they have to rely on a more attacking player to slot in at right back.
The Australian will give Tony Ralston every chance to be ready in time for the Hibs game, and admits Josip getting game time straight after his return is unlikely:
Speaking to the Daily Record, Postecoglou said: “We’ll get him [Juranovic] back in. He’s had a slight injury, so we’ll see how he is.

“We won’t throw him back in unless he’s absolutely ready to go.
“We’ll see with Tony. He improved on Friday and Saturday, so we’ll give him every chance.”
Juranovic’s Celtic future is still up in the air. Most Celtic fans expect Josip to move on in January after the club secured the signing of Alistair Johnston in early December.
There will be no qualms about putting the Croatian back in the side, even if he’s destined to move on later in January. We could see the World Cup star back in action at Ibrox.
