The Croatian right–back, who played in the World Cup, has scored six goals in 53 appearances for the Scottish club.
The transfer fee, reported to be in the region of £7.5 million but could rise to £10 million, is set to be finalized with a medical scheduled for Sunday.
After Ange Postecoglou had given the player the opportunity to talk to Union Berlin on Saturday, it’s emerged that terms were no issue, and the defender has agreed to a 3-and-a-half-year contract. All that’s left to happen is for a medical to be completed, Fabrizio Romano reports.

This marks the end of a successful 18-month spell at Celtic, during which Juranovic won the Premiership and a League Cup title while impressing at every level Celtic played at.
It’s a good move for the player. He’ll get a wage rise, and the opportunity to play in a top league for a side just one win of second place while living in a beautiful city.
