Celtic take on Aberdeen this afternoon at Celtic Park in what will be the first patch of the post-Neil Lennon era.
All eyes are on the team line up and how much John Kennedy agreed or disagreed with the players Neil was picking regularly.
In Neil’s final game last Sunday he crammed so much creative midfielders into the side with a lack of structure and purpose – it would prove his undoing in Dingwall.
Today Celtic have a bit of a clean slate but still have John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan calling the shots until the end of this term.
It’s a chance for John to show he is good enough to manage. Not Celtic, not right now, but if he can put in a good enough run in the final eight games it could see him get a manager job elsewhere and build up his credentials. But that’s all down the line!
Today it’s all about Celtic moving forward and their attempts to restore some pride this term.
