JOHN KENNEDY spoke to the media at Lenoxtown on Friday, an appearance that surprised many fans.
It came as rumours regarding Ange’s future at Celtic had peaked, with Leeds seemingly interested in the gaffer. There’s no need to worry about his absence, though. Postecoglou took training as usual on Friday morning, and Kennedy told the press that he was focused on Celtic, and was loving his time at the club.
Alison Conroy of Sky Sports, reports that the first team coach was due to answer the questions and that there was no last-minute swap.

Kennedy had also been on media duties for Celtic TV this week, further backing up the claim that he was always meant to be in the hot seat this week.
The timing isn’t the greatest, with the potential for a media frenzy, but the facts are clear; Ange took training and delegated the media task to Kennedy this week, and it’s business as usual.
