John Kennedy’s Celtic Future

John Kennedy receives of a lot of unfair attention at times. He was heavily criticised for his stint as interim boss earlier this year which was warranted considering he continued down the same path as Neil Lennon and gave us nothing new to chew on.

Celtic fans have been banging the drum that any new manager must choose his own staff — Ange Postecoglou is now installed as the manager but there’s not been much talk of anyone will be heading in with him.

It leaves John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan in the picture and you have to imagine discussions have taken place between Ange and Dominic McKay surrounding their future.

We’re so close to the start of next season, surely Celtic wouldn’t tell the duo to walk now?

Record Sport reports John Kennedy is considering his own future at the club and could look to move if a managerial role that comes up captures his imagination.

My biggest concern about the two coaches staying on is the stink they have on them from last season. They also have their thoughts on the entire playing staff and are not coming at things with a nee perspective — everyone at the club should get a fresh look — does that happen if John and Gavin are there?
