Coming off the back of a league defeat last Sunday, the Hoops will have received a boost from their pleasing 2-1 win over Feyenoord.

Building up to the game, there was hope that Cameron Carter-Vickers and Daizen Maeda would be available, however, Brendan Rodgers had admitted before the game that that wouldn’t be the case.

John Kennedy has confirmed that the American centre-half and Japanese winger will be involved with the squad on Saturday.

While giving updates on Reo Hatate and Liel Abada, the former Celtic defender said on Celtic TV, “They’ll both [CCV and Maeda] come into the squad tomorrow. Abada is still working through rehab, he’s a couple of weeks away. Reo is slightly behind him.”

We won’t see Reo Hatate on the pitch until January if we go by what Brendan Rodgers said to CeltsAreHere on Tuesday. But, having CCV and Maeda back, and potentially Liel Abada, the Celtic squad could be in a good place heading into the derby at the end of the month.
