JOHN HARTSON has echoed the sentiments of a lot of Celtic fans this afternoon who can’t comprehend why Nir Bitton chose to drag Alfredo Morelos to the ground, resulting in a red card.
The Columbian has proven to be goal-shy against the club and he had reinforcements on the way back, however, he chose to grab hold of the player and gave Madden a decision to make.
It cost Celtic the game, it cost Celtic the title.
While this one game isn’t the reason the title is gone, it’s frustrating it all boiled down to one individual error in the end and we let it get to that point.
John sums it up.
Bitton has to let Morelos run past him take a chance on Barkas making a save ! Al least Celtic keep 11men on the pitch. No blame on bitton for being 19pts Behind and a goal difference of 22. We couldn’t lose today players gave everything.! can’t see a way back.

Hartson has been one of the more positive pundits when it comes to the league but not even he can put a brave face on this one.
We played well for sixty minutes but it counts for nothing. We look as though ten has passed us by and the inquest should begin. Also where we go from here should be discussed.
