JOHN HARTSON has backed his old teammate Neil Lennon after the debacle saying every manager gets it wrong once in a while and points to his success elsewhere.
The problem for Celtic fans sitting here today is the manager has got it all wrong three times in three pivotal moments making the same mistakes.
Cluj, Copenhagen and Ferencvaros have all come to Celtic Park and knocked us out of competitions because Neil Lennon has tinkered with the team and made inexplicable decisions. Once is a sore luck story, twice is pushing it but three times is indefensible.
John would be better served to call last night what it was – a complete and utter farce.
The negativity on here is shocking you would think Celtic were chasing leagues and cups .. Lennon was the best thing since sliced bread when he brought home the title after the training camp to Dubai. Tell me a manager that don’t get selections wrong at times. Back our manager 🍀

In the cold light of day, Celtic have come onto the field against the Hungarian champions with NO striker. There was two on the bench and his claim that Patryk Klimala wasn’t fit is laughable, to be honest, no he doesn’t have the match minutes under his belt but he’s had a pre-season like the rest of them.
The negativity John speaks of is not only born out of the result but Neil’s actions after the game, he should have let cooler heads prevail – instead, he went in on his players and now we’re in a much more serious and negative scenario.
