Joe Hart’s Brilliant Insight to the Squad’s Champions League Mentality

JOE HART has been a terrific signing, from the way he conducts himself on the park to the manner he speaks about the club and those involved with it.

Celtic face a massive challenge heading into Europe. In pot 4, Celtic should be the weakest side in their Champions League group; however, Postecoglou isn’t allowing these mind games to distract the players. The group will be drawn this week; Postecoglou and his Bhoys will find out their fate on Thursday afternoon.

Confidence is high in the Celtic side at the moment; why wouldn’t it be? The team are playing some great football and are scoring goals from multiple sources.

Joe Hart has opened up on the mentality in the dressing room, with the manager installing belief into the player. He said; [Glasgow Times]

“He hasn’t got us feeling like we can beat anyone, but he has certainly got us feeling that if we are together we can take anyone on and give a good account of ourselves,” Hart said.

“He doesn’t like putting limits on what we can achieve and I like living in that world. Long may it continue.

“I’m fully aware I’ve not got as much to look forward to as, for example, Jota career wise. But I love stepping up and going into every game with excitement and not knowing what will come next.

“He is us and we are him, so we are rolling as a unit.”

With Ange as manager, I fully believe we can beat anyone, but as the keeper said, the team needs to play as one and work for the result.

Fans are looking forward to the group stages; it’s been a while since we’ve seen Celtic compete on Europe’s top stage. Hopefully, we can give a good account of ourselves and secure European football after Christmas.
