Celtic kicked off their new season with a 7-0 win on Wednesday night. It was an emphatic start to pre-season as the Hoops gear up to defend their league title.

Joe Hart started the match between the sticks, before swapping with Ben Siegrist at half-time. The Englishman had nothing to do during the first forty-five, having a quiet game.

Wearing the captain’s armband, the goalie could be heard giving his teammates instructions. He was keen for the defence to maintain their high line, especially when defending set-pieces.

It was a great display from Celtic, particularly in the first half. It was great to see many players receive a chance, especially the youth players.

It’ll be interesting to see if matches like Wednesday’s, will spark Jullien into life and enable him to kick on in his Celtic career.
