Celtic secured their 53rd Scottish top flight title at the weekend as goals from Kyogo and Oh made sure of a 2-0 victory at Tynecastle to bring home the bacon.
It was a relatively routine win for the Hoops with the two goals that were scored being typical of an Ange Postecoglou side.
And in his almost two years at the helm in Glasgow’s east end, the Australian has been vastly successful.
He has an aura that reflects on to his players and ‘keeper Joe Hart praised the influence Postecoglou had on him (Daily Record):
“A huge impression. He’s top. He’s really, really good.
“He’s very clear on what he wants and I think the biggest buzz for me is that I am playing for someone who is pushing me and I’m learning new things every single day.”
Hart is loving life at Celtic and he said that this is the first team he’s been at where there is a ‘real’ style of football:
“I have played in different teams that have been successful and identity in football has kind of always been there. But in terms of having a real way of playing, this is the first time that I’ve been a part of a team with a real way of playing.”
It is fair to say that the Englishman’s career has been rejuvenated in Glasgow and despite many Celtic fans being sceptical when he first joined the club, Hart has proved himself to be a more than reliable contributor at Parkhead.
