Joe Hart Hits Nail on Head Over Derby Win

Celtic defeated Rangers by a goal to nil on Sunday as a Jota header late in the first half proved decisive for Ange Postecoglou’s men.

The Bhoys made it into the Scottish Cup final as a result of their victory in which according to ‘keeper Joe Hart, they showed numerous sides to their game (Celtic FC):

“But I think that we’ve shown there is a couple of sides to us as a team.

“There’s obviously that sharp interchange and flowing football, and then, when needs to be, we roll up our sleeves. We know what we’re doing and we dig in together.”

For the majority who associate Celtic with only free flowing, attacking football, Sunday’s match proved them wrong.

The Hoops can dig in, defend amply and see out a win, much like they did at the weekend.

Hart in particular was an underrated performer in the match, coming to collect several cross balls and making a number of important saves.

It is fair to say the Englishman was more busy than usual although he will be hoping for a quiet afternoon in the cup final next month.

He did say, however, that the Hoops cannot take anything for granted and they must keep on track in the league and cup:

“But we’ve only got to a final. That’s it. We’ve still got to get over the line in both competitions and that’s going to be tough, but it was important.”

Despite these claims, it is odds on Celtic will win a treble.

The Hoops are just two wins away from a record breaking eighth domestic clean sweep with fans already getting excited about the prospect of a fifth treble in eight years.
