ANGE POSTECOGLOU blasted his forward players after his side failed to take their chances in the midweek match against Livingston.

The Celtic boss promised changes ahead of the Christmas Eve tie against St Johnstone at the weekend due to the performances from individuals.
Joe Hart has backed the manager’s comments, admitting the manager has high expectations for his players in order to get the best out of them.
As quoted by The Sun, Joe Hart explained how the manager was honest with his feelings. He said:
“That’s what we see from him. He expects a lot from him and we expect a lot from ourselves.
“He’s certainly not going to walk in after a game, when we’ve not taken the chances to put the game out of sight and it’s turned into a difficult second half, and not say that.
“I think you guys appreciate that and we do too.
“He’s pretty clear with us and honest with his feelings. He lets us know.
“But it’s not a shock, it’s not a bolt. We know it’s coming.
“We know when we are playing well and when our flow is good.
“But he regularly points out to us that it’s all very well and good to get to a certain height. The higher you get, the harder it is to stay at that level.
“He wants the best for us. But there are different ways of getting that out of us and he can’t be nice all the time.”
Countless times the ball was played across the face of the goal or landed at the back post without a player waiting to meet it. It was the fault of all the forwards, not just one.
It’s been the troy of Celtic’s season so far, with the Champions League disappointment boiling down to the failure to take clear-cut chances and hit the back of the net.
