CELTIC have announced the signings of Joe Hart and James McCarthy this afternoon in a DOUBLE DEAL.
Two players who have plied their trade in the English Premier League for years are now Celtic players and CAN be registered for the Europa League tie against Jablonec.
The Joe Hart signing was telegraphed on Monday night but the James McCarthy rumours had ramped up over the past few hours until Celtic fans everywhere were made aware of a potential 4pm announcement.
That announcement did come and it was both Joe and James who were announced.
Joe Hart will likely come into the first team almost immediately and take up the number one spot. McCarthy could take Soro’s starting space away from him in the coming weeks once he is up to full fitness.
Celtic have signed two older type players who they wouldn’t usually go for but the experience is vital for the season ahead.
