CELTIC steamrolled St Mirren on Wednesday night 11 days after the Paisley side turned up to Celtic Park and took all three points.
After a monotonous first half, Celtic sprung into life during the second. It was a penalty despatched by Odsonne Edouard which gave Celtic the two goal cushion and from there they were rampant.
St Mirren boss, Jim Goodwin believes Greg Taylor has won the penalty by nefarious means and the contact made was not enough for Taylor to go down.
‘There is a touch on the shoulder but not enough for Taylor’s legs to crumble’ Goodwin told PLZ Soccer.
Celtic scored two goals after the penalty and showed their ruthless side for the first time in a while. However Goodwin will think there was still something in it for his team if they didn’t concede the penalty
The Buddies gaffer did talk up Celtic in the post-match also but inferring there was a dive when it looked like a penalty is a bit poor from the former Celtic academy player.
