JEREMIE FRIMPONG scored twice as Bayer Leverkusen won their first match under the management of Xabi Alonso.

The former Celtic star started in a wing back position, enabling him to get up and down the right wing.
The Dutch youth internationalist, who’s been approached by Ghana in recent months, scored the German side’s second and third goal, pushing Leverkusen onto their second win of the season.
It’s not clear if Celtic have a sell on clause agreed with Bayer Leverkusen, after the player left for a reported £11.5 million in the January of 2021, but Celtic seem to insert such clauses as standard. With many players leaving Celtic over the past few years with sell on clauses agreed as part of the deal.
There has already been interest from top clubs around Europe in the 21-year-old, with the German side valuing him at £30 million, but if he maintains his high level of performances, his stock will certainly rise.
