JAMES MCCLEAN has shown support for his fellow Irish Republic international after a tough weeks in the Hoops.

Both Shane and Jane’s are huge Celtic fans and the winger has obviously been watching things unfold north of the border.

Duffy has come in for heavy criticism for his part in the last three games where Celtic have failed to register a win.

McClean posted a picture of the two of them on international duty with a strong arm and heart emoji.

Shane started his Celtic career off with two goals in two games but since then he has been fragile in defence.

Neil Lennon has told fans to be patient because the player has gone from zero to one hundred in terms of game time.

Only time will tell if he can turn things around.

Celtic have a game in France on Thursday followed by a semi-final against Aberdeen on Sunday.
