James Forrest got his own chant at Pittodrie as the winger starred in the Hoops.

The winger’s name replaced Jinky Johnston’s in his infamous chant.
He showed flashes of his vintage best at Pittodrie on Wednesday night as Celtic eased past Aberdeen 5-1, but the winger’s personal search for a goal goes on with just two games left in the season.
Forrest, who was handed a start by Brendan Rodgers as part of a rotated side, was one of the standout performers on the night. He created the most chances in the match, including a perfectly weighted pass to set up Luke McCowan for his second-half goal.
The 33-year-old looked sharp and energetic throughout, troubling the Aberdeen defence with his movement and link-up play. But, once again, the elusive goal that would mark his first of the campaign evaded him. His last competitive strike for Celtic came 364 days ago, a run that he will be desperate to end before the curtain comes down on another silverware-laden season for the Hoops.
Despite not getting on the scoresheet, the travelling support at Pittodrie made their appreciation clear, belting out a new song in his honour as he put in a tireless shift down the right wing. Forrest’s display served as a timely reminder of his enduring quality, even as he approaches the twilight of a decorated Celtic career.
Forrest now has just two matches remaining to break his duck: the league finale against St Mirren at Celtic Park on Saturday, where the Premiership trophy will be lifted, and the Scottish Cup Final against Aberdeen at Hampden, where Celtic will aim to secure the Treble.
The goal to make it 16 successive seasons on the scoresheet will hopefully come soon.
