JAMES FORREST’S assist at Pittodrie sees him join an elite club with Jinky Johnstone and Henrik Larsson.

The academy graduate is the third player in the club’s history to score 100 goals and assist 100 goals. An incredible achievement from James, writing himself into Celtic’s history books, again.

His assist in Celtic’s 200th goal under Ange Postecoglou took him to 100.

He’s come under a fair bit of criticism in recent years, but you can’t take away his form from this season. Not only has he reached some incredible landmarks by netting a few goals and assisting some more, he’s also looked sharp and similar to the Forrest of a few seasons ago.

He’s still got a few years left on his Celtic contract and is currently showing why he was offered a new deal last season. He’s still contributing at the top level but also recognises his peak days are behind him and is willing to be that squad player.

James Forrest is a Celtic legend, for sure.
