Celtic have already signed three new players this summer and the spending isn’t going to stop there. The bhoys only have one recognised right back in Anthony Ralston and must dip back into the market for a player in that position.
We have already reported on the strong Celtic interest in Luton defender Jack Stacey. Sky Sports have just announced that Luton has knocked back an offer of 2.5m for the right back.

The player managed over 50 games for his club last season so he is certainly up for the challenge. If today’s reports of a 2.5m bid rejection are true, Lennon will obviously have to up the bid.
The club has already spent 10 million on defenders this season. The left-back position got a boost during the week when Celtic signed Boli from Vienna for a reported 3m. The right-back position, however, is certainly the most urgent and the Celtic management have known this for a long time.
