It seemed inevitable after this weekend and today It has been confirmed Jack Ross has been relieved of his duties as Dundee Utd manager. Ross couldn’t survive the poor run of results culminating in a 9-0 thrashing from Celtic.
The Scottish manager pulled off an incredible result against AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of their European qualifier earlier this season, but since then it’s been heavy defeat after heavy defeat.
Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic side came to town and were the emphatic final nail in the coffin for Jack Ross and his short tenure at Tannadice.

Celtic set a new away record for themselves on the day and propelled themselves back to the top of the league.
It’s not nice to see people lose their jobs but Jack will know it’s the nature of the beast in football. Ross has benefited from other managers being moved on during his career and now someone will come in to pick up the pieces for The Arabs.
Ange will certainly have sympathy for Ross after the weekend. When things aren’t going well, they can really go wrong.
For Celtic, I don’t think it’s the last game this season where they score 6 or more.
