JACK HENDRY responded to a Celtic fan’s criticism online on Monday night after coming across the comment on social media.
Pat Farrell commented on a tweet which blasted some Celtic fans for their criticism of some of their players replying with ‘That’s because Jack Hendry is broken, he’s f***ing sh***’.
The Celtic player who has a Twitter account stumbled across the comment and had some words for Pat, branding the fan ‘Sad’ and to ‘stay classy.
The tweet has now been deleted but it’s clear the player is taking exception to some of the comments about his performances in the hoops since signing last January.
Rodgers spoke yesterday of sending Jack out on loan with the goal of getting him first team football so he can continue to develop.
Hendry has been struggling for form during the games he has played and hasn’t made many match day squads so far this season when there’s a full roster to choose from.
I think we all forget sometimes that footballers are humans and criticism can get to them just as it does to all of us at times.
