It has been claimed Celtic could make another move for Spurs youngster Jack Clarke after initially trying to get him on loan back in January according to Football Insider.
Spurs spent around £10m on the winger last summer (TransferMarkt), when they picked Jack up from Leeds. He has yet to play a senior game for Tottenham and his loan spell back at Leeds then QPR haven’t quite worked out.
Celtic’s interest in the player in January is reportedly still there and they could use the promise of first team football to get the winger in for the ten in a row tilt.
Celtic have found some great loan signings from the Premier league in the past. However, they have also had some players come in and not make a mark at all.
With Mohamed Elyounoussi heading back to Southampton, there is scope for another winger to come in and play a part for the bhoys next term
Football journeyman Alex Bruce believes Jack and Tottenham should jump at the chance at a move to Celtic:
“I would recommend anyone to go to a club like Celtic to get game time. it’s a great club, any young lad who’s got the opportunity to go and play anywhere, I would recommend just to go and do it and if you can join a club like Celtic in the process then fantastic.” Bruce told Football Insider.
“I’m all for it.”
Celtic will have to be thrifty in the transfer market and getting the right players in on loan plays a big part in the clubs success.
